Running Assessment

An increasing number of people are participating in running, either as a recreational or competitive activity, to improve their health and well-being. There are reports that almost 80% of runners get injured during any one year and a lot of those injuries can be attributed to overuse. Overuse injuries are sustained by a repeated action, as opposed to an acute injury or accident. A Running Assessment benefits runners of all levels and will optimise your running technique.

Each runner is evaluated clinically to identify areas that may be potential issues in the future, or perhaps have been niggling for some time. This involves a comprehensive assessment of training programs, footwear, joint movement, strength, flexibility and running technique with dual camera slow motion technology.

Runners are provided with solutions that will address concerns identified from the assessment, so that running is more enjoyable, your performance improves and injury risk is reduced.
